Fractional COO · Chief of Staff · Strategic Operator
Transforming founder vision into operational reality.
I work inside growth-stage African businesses, creative agencies, and media houses to build the operational systems and team alignment that let founders scale — without burning out in the process.
Growth is messy.
You didn't start a business to spend all day managing Slack threads, fixing broken processes, and untangling cross-functional miscommunications. But as you scale, the company outgrows the way it used to work. Decisions take longer, ownership gets blurry, and you get pulled out of your zone of genius.
That is where I come in.
I step in to build the structure and operating rhythm your business needs to work better from the inside out.
What I Do
Embedded Leadership
Fractional COO
For businesses hitting a ceiling due to operational chaos. I build SOPs, KPI dashboards, and data governance models — and direct cross-functional teams to streamline how work actually gets done.
Fractional Chief of Staff
For visionary founders who need an operator to translate ideas into executed strategy. I run leadership meetings, oversee go-to-market execution, and make sure every department is rowing in the same direction.
Media & Creative Strategy
Built on a decade running pan-African media companies. I work with creative agencies and media houses to build scalable business models, optimize workflows, and turn audiences into revenue.
On Stage
Speaking, Panels, & Ecosystem Facilitation
With over a decade of experience building media houses, facilitating global networks, and scaling African startups, I speak on the realities of doing business across the continent. No fluff, no theory. Just actionable insights from the operator's chair.
Building with Constraints
How African startups can build resilient operations without Silicon Valley-sized capital.
The Architecture of Community
Turning passive audiences into highly engaged, monetizable ecosystems.
Founder to Operator
How to transition from building a product to leading a high-performing company.
From the Ground Up
The Long Way Around
I never stood a chance at a normal career. My father held a corporate job but always ran side ventures — transport, security, food — most of it built through trial and error, inherited from his own mother who ran a small grocery store in Zimbabwe. That store is where I learned my first real business lessons: customer service, inventory, pricing, all of it during Zimbabwe's hyperinflation period. Hustle wasn't something I chose. It was something I was handed.
I leaned into entrepreneurship early. My first real taste of operations and people management came from running a coffee shop — learning on my feet, solving real problems with limited resources. That grew into something bigger. I founded Mamoyo Media House out of an obsession with getting African stories in front of people and creating spaces for Africans to learn from each other. Mamoyo grew into film distribution, marketing, PR, and magazine publishing. We published AfroQueen Business Magazine and produced the Ijere Africa show on Africa Business Radio.
During COVID, I pivoted into corporate, stepping into senior operations roles managing global teams across Africa and the US. I had built from zero, and I had run at scale inside structured global organizations. When I started asking what African founders actually needed, the answer wasn't another course. It was structure, real peers, and someone who had sat in their chair. That is why I founded The Scale Table, and why I now work as a Fractional COO and Chief of Staff for businesses ready to scale with intention.
“I spent years building African businesses without a real peer in the room. Now I make sure the founders who come after me don't have to.”
